Weekend S’mores

On the weekend, my family and I made our first attempt at making s’mores. All the girls (me, mum and my sisters) went to buy chocolate, biscuit, marshmallows and chop stick while the boys (brother and dad) organised the fire woods.  

This was a really fun day as we had to toast our marshmallows on the fire pit, we then put it together with chocolate on biscuit and ate it. It was really yum.

Home Learning Day eight

Hello everyone.

Today, I was learning how to count in 2s using my colouring pens, I used my hula hoops to form a circle to work in. 

I also filled in the words that rhyme with skip.

Home Learning Day seven

My mummy helped me to create a paper lion. It was a lot of fun trying to make the lion’s mane, colouring and gluing different colour papers together. 

Fried banana

My big sister Jahzara helped me make fried banana. We used icing sugar on top. We used ice cream as well. I liked putting the banana in the bread crumbs. It was very yummy!

This is a measuring tape. My Dad helped me find it in the cupboard.

I helped Dad with the washing and I helped my Mum do the vacuuming.

I wanted to make a gingerbread man for math. My favourite shape in my gingerbread man is the rectangle.

I am doing exercise because I want to be healthy. My goal during lock down is to stay active.

The learning tasks for today was listening to a story called "Clark the Shark."

Our big sister Jahzara helped us make paper sharks.

Gene and I are getting attacked by a paper shark.

Trip to Kelly Tarltons

Last term the children in Room 18 went on a school trip. to Kelly Tarltons. For some of us it was the very first time. We had a lovely day. What a great experience!
