For home learning today I listened to the story Hannah’s game read by Mrs Dwyer.

After, my big sister asked me some questions about the story.

Matching the correct words to the right sentence. 

The taste challenge

Today’s experiment required us to use only our sense of taste.

The goal was to identify the difference between 4 fruit and 1 vegetable.

• Apple
• Pear
• Peach
• Nectarine 
• Potato

Me and my siblings had to wear blind folds and cover our nosies when tasting the fruit or vegetable.

The results 

Me, Evangeline and Jahzara got a few wrong and Ajani and Genevieve got them all correct. 

I was able to get 3 out of the 5 tasters correct. I found it hard to identify which fruit was what but I could definitely tell which one was the potato. 

       

I want to do this experiment again so next time I can get them all correct.

Today was wacky hat day.

My mum and my big sister Jahzara helped me to create my wacky hat Using objects found at home. 

Here’s my maths challenge for today. I had to write down facts to 10

I then did problem solving, drawing it down and then count to find the answer is a lot easier then trying to work it out. 

Here’s my writing for today. I had to listen to an audio and then write it down. 

Then i had to write down 5 words with that start with fl sounds

Home Learning Day 24

Today is a Monday and it’s no meet day,  so my sister, me and our dad went to do some training at the field. It was so much fun, getting to run around the whole field on our own was really cool and playing some fun games. When we finished were both so tired that we both went to sleep early. 

Health Lunch

On Saturday, our family decided to make healthy lunch. Since we all love sushi, it was an easy decision. We decided to do two flavors, chicken and tuna.
I was in charge of the Tuna. I opened the can of tuna, added mayonnaise, chopped spring onions and then added salt for flavor. 

once all mixed together, it was time to sort out my rice, I spread just enough rice on a seaweeds sushi wrapper and then added my chicken, cucumbers and carrots. 

Place it on a bamboo sushi roller And then roll it into round shape making sure to keep everything in. 

once done my dad cut them all into small pieces. 

my sister Eva did a reverse roll sushi which is the white one. 

This was very yummy, that we ate it all in one sitting.
